There’s nothing like enjoying a refreshing beverage of your choice after a long day. But what if we told you you could start your day with a refreshing beverage—but not in the way you would think. No, we’re not talking about drinking it, we’re talking about using it as a way to depuff, refresh and “wake up” your complexion. How, you may ask? By using it as an ice roller! And Coors Light, one of the leading beer companies in the business, is making it easy thanks to their new Coors Light Chill Face Roller that launches this month. Keep reading for all of the details on the launch, including what exactly it is, how to use it and more.
What is face rolling?
Face rolling, also called ice rolling, is a skincare technique that entails using a cold rolling device or tool across your skin (often in the morning but it can be used anytime) to help get rid of puffiness, dark circles and more. Ice rollers can help us feel and look more “awake” and are a refreshing way to start your day.
Ice rolling works thanks to the cold temperature of the tool that constricts blood vessels and reduces fluid retention, which leads to swelling. Additionally, the “rolling” aspect of the tool encourages lymphatic drainage (a buildup of lymphatic fluid can further cause puffiness). Not to mention it just feels so nice, refreshing and cooling on the skin, making it a great form of self-care.

Facial rollers are often made with a titanium or metal roller, since metal cools very well and feels very soothing, or a type of precious gemstone like rose quartz or jade. You also can find silicone ice molds made for your face where you simply fill it with water and let it freeze. These rollers don’t need to be expensive—you can find great options on Amazon for less than $20.
About Coors Light Chill Face Roller Launch
Yes, you read that right: Beer brand Coors Light just ventured into the skincare world with a new face roller tool that will be available to purchase Jan. 27. The Coors Light Chill Face Roller is a Coors Light branded holster that you simply insert a can of a cold Coors Light into horizontally and roll onto your face. “By simply inserting a 12-ounce can of Coors Light securely into the holster, the Chill Roller transforms into a bespoke facial tool that ensures the ultimate chilled facial experience powered by mountain-cold refreshment,” the brand shared in a press release.
The inspiration behind the launch comes from the classic tale as old as time, having “a case of the Mondays”—especially during football season, which can feel stressful to some fans. And more specifically, after the Super Bowl. “The Monday after the Big Game is notorious for being the Mondayest Monday for football fans. Just ask 60% of Americans and Canadians that admit they’re likely to have a 'Case of the Mondays' after the Big Game, according to a recent survey conducted by Talker Research,” the brand said in the press release. “That’s why earlier this month, Coors Light turned a ‘Case of the Mondays’ into an actual case of beer with limited-time packaging. It’s also why the brand today is releasing a new way for fans to ‘Choose Chill’ and to bring mountain-cold refreshment to their faces.”
The Coors Light Chill Face Roller will be available to purchase Jan. 27 at noon ET on Shop.CoorsLight.com. Aside from the face roller, there will also be other “Case of the Mondays” merchandise, like sweat sets, hats, shirts and more.

“At Coors Light, we’ve always believed in delivering refreshment and chill to our fans in unexpected ways,” said Marcelo Pascoa, Vice President of Marketing at Coors Light, in the press release. “With the Coors Light Chill Roller, we’re taking that mission to the next level by bringing the mountain cold of Coors Light directly to your daily routine. Why not chill your face while you chill your Case of the Mondays?”
